Brisbane Quilt Show

Last Thursday my friend Jan and I went to the quilt show. We had a great day looking at all the stalls and buying a few bits and pieces along the way.  We also caught up with a few people on our way around the stalls. I managed to find a few things to buy beside the basics like scissors and cutting blades that I usually stock up on while I'm there.
Assorted spotty fat 1/4's, Christmas prints and ric rac, metal hangers, Sashiko dragonfly stitchery, fabric  & thread, Xmas buttons and an owl ornament pattern. Below a couple of Birdhouse patterns. I did buy Tilda fabric there but forget to take a photo of that.

We also checked out the quilts on display. Below are just a few.

Some very talented ladies out there.
By the time we got home, Jan and I were both pretty tired. I had intended to go another day but decided as I had got most of what I had on my list I'd leave it at that.
Well must go and get some sewing done before the afternoon school run.
Till then................ Happy Stitching...........
