FNWF.

Last night I managed to finish off the quilting on my Xmas my table topper. It always takes me longer than I allow and by the time I cut out the binding, I decided I needed a break from my topper and so worked on something else I had previously cut out.  Below are some photos :

It's hard to see the quilting lines in these photos but I have lines running out from the centre in a circle on the red fabrics with zigzag stitching in the half square border and straight stitching in the cream corners and border.
I decided to make this stitchery into a small runner, will show you how I will use it when I finish it.
In all I had a great night and am pleased with what I achieved. Thanks to Cheryll for hosting the night.
Have had a busy day today rearranging my spare bedroom as we are getting a new bed next week and we needed to move our old bed out of our room. Amazing how much dust gets behind the furniture. Lots of cleaning with the vacumn and washing windows so I am very tired tonight. Will check out everyone's blogs tomorrow.
Have a great Sunday.      Hugs.........

  5. Both of your Christmas projects are lovely.... as is the quilting on your table topper. Just think... when you get your new bed all your hard work will have been worth it. My tip is... don't move the new bed for at least 10 years!!! ;o))
