FNSI Results

I had a very productive time last night. I managed to finish my mug rug for Let's Get Stitched by adding the binding and stitching it down. Not long to go now only 12 days before I fly to Melbourne.

Next I worked on my Christmas hanging. I cut out the backing and basted the layers together ready for quilting. Today I quilted the top and cut out the binding. Hopefully tomorrow I will get a chance to add the binding and I'll have another finish.

Lastly I cut out the blocks for my twister table runner.

Top photo:  top ready to cut, cutting the squares using the twister ruler, ready to stitch back together.

I hope you all had a fantastic night and managed to join me in a coffee and an Anzac biscuit.
Will have a look tomorrow and see what everyone else got up to. You can check it out too by going over to Wendy's at Sugarlane Quilts.
Bye for now..................

  5. You are so creative. Love the mug rug and your table runner is amazing. It looks hard to do. Would you rate it, beginner, intermediate, or experienced ? I've just started making hexagons, they always looked so hard that I thought I could never make them and then they turned out to be easy and fun :) It just goes to show that you can't judge a book by it's cover.
Have a happy day and keep smiling.

  11. Lovely sewing there Noela - the Twister fascinates me, but I am curious doesn't it waste a bit of fabric? Yummy-looking Anzac bikkie! x
