This past week I have had my grandson staying with us as his Dad is away on a fishing trip. This meant that I couldn't go to my usual August quilting camp with the Beaudesert Quilters group at Tamborine. I did manage to pay the girls a quick visit on Thursday whilst Jake was at school.

Some ladies catching up whilst others are already busy working on their projects. |
The theme of the camp this time was Hearts and Flowers so below are a few of the Challenge place mats made to use at meal time.

My friend Chris has just become a grandma for the first time so she used photos of her grand-daughter in the hearts. |
I was also lucky enough to be given a spare badge and a heart made by Sue which were to be handed out to everyone at last nights dress-up dinner. I felt very spoilt. Thank you Sue. I have signed up for the next camp in March which has the theme of Teddy Bears, Dolls and Cupcakes.

Really wish I could have been there but am looking forward to the next one. Hope all my fellow quilters had a great time and got lots of sewing done. Happy Stitching All........
What a shame you couldn't go Noela. I got a bit wistful looking at your photos and remembering all the wonderful memories I have of past camps too.... I bet they all had a ball. I really hope I get to go to the next one..... Your badge and heart are lovely...as their little gifts always are xx
