A Gail Pan wall hanging is complete just waiting for a rusty hanger and bells when I get around to ordering some.
I am so happy with how this turned out, used a Cottage Garden thread called Mistletoe and finished it off with some Nancy Halvorsen fabric.
Also completed 2 more Christmas ornaments. Finally found some trim I liked for the tree one.
So three finishes for this month. Will also add these to 1 Xmas Item a Month blog. Thanks to Narelle from Pins and Whiskers blog for hosting this one.
Just a short post today. Have been busy as Chris took some holidays so we could paint the bathroom and kitchen which are now done. I am still sorting out cupboards and trying to downsize by getting rid of things I have accumulated over the years but don't use now.
I think the worst part of painting is that everything has to come off the walls and put back when you're finished. That's slowly getting done.
Well must go, be back soon ...........
.
Great work, I love everything you have stitched.

ReplyDeleteLovely finishes, Noela :-) Are the colours in the Mistletoe threads, red, green and white? I've been looking for that colour combo to complete a few projects.

ReplyDeleteAlways a slow progress after painting. I love painting out rooms but after having to do our whole house from bare plaster I never wish to see a paint brush ever again lol. Love your stitcheries and that thread used in the hanging is just perfect.
ReplyDeleteOnce your rooms are painted up - you'll be in love with your house all over again. I leave painting to Mr. P - he actually enjoys doing it !
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sewing projects Noela. A fresh coat of paint will do wonders.
ReplyDeleteI love your Christmas sewing... wonderful... yes, painting... we were talking about it this weekend!!!

ReplyDeleteLovely wall hanging and decorations Noela. Unfortunately life is not all sewing and creating. Hopefully you are not sitting back and enjoying the wonderful results of all your hard work.

ReplyDeleteThe whole idea of painting is a bit daunting - all that prep work. Love the wall hanging.
